Julian connects most with the archaic roots of acupuncture and Chinese medicine originating as a shamanic art. This translates to addressing the physical body, the psycho-somatic (emotional), and spiritual aspects of a person which require healing.

Julian prefers a treatment strategy which addresses a combination of the physical, emotional, and energetic complexities of an individual, as well as empowers them in ascension on the path they have walked thus far.  He views acupuncture as an initiative catalyst for a larger healing process and a pillar of support for already existing processes in play.

He has a Masters of Science degree in Traditional Oriental Medicine from the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in New York City.  He is a New York State licensed acupuncturist and holds a state recognized certification in clean needle technique through the NCCAOM.  As an intern he completed an offsite clinic shift at housing works in Brooklyn New York, providing acupuncture to HIV positive low income individuals, as well as those in recovery from addictions, and living in homeless shelters.

Total completion of required educational hours:

  • 4050 total educational hours

Julian believes it is a gift to practice this medicine and remains humbled by the forces, which led him to walk this path. This included the diagnosis of a bone tumor in his femur when he was twenty one, leading him to undergo five surgeries in six months. He spent months in bed, undergoing three months of excruciating physical therapy to regain range of motion. It was two years before he recovered back the majority of his ability to use his leg. It was in this time that he researched and experimented with various dietary approaches becoming obsessed with how nutrition, herbal medicine, supplementation and various lifestyle practices could heal the body and psyche.

In addition to Acupuncture Julian is a certified nutrition therapist through the Integrative Institute of Nutrition, a curriculum which educates students on over 500 nutritional approaches and dietary models from various doctors, researchers and teachers, as well as the mechanism behind their theories.

His love for herbal medicine eventually led him to the amazon jungle where he fell in love with the healing traditions of the rain forest known as amazonian plant shamanism after witnessing medicine men and woman heal cancer and other diseases western medicine could do little for.

Through this journey he has made multiple trips to Peru, Ecuador and Costa Rica, to study with indigenous healers including the legendary healer Don Cesario of the Ecuadorian indigenous Secoya tribe, a 116 year old medicine man famous for his ability to heal almost any disease.

"I am dedicated to only providing quality resources, nutritional guidance, and sharing medicine with the ethics of sustainability, organic sourcing, and the avoidance of any sprays, binders, fillers, or processed and artificial ingredients. Any of the products I recommend or offer within my store front adhere strictly to these guidelines as I wouldn't sell anything to anyone that I wouldn't take myself. We are all connected and harm to others is harm to self. In the great tradition of medicinal practitioners, I strive to do no harm, both in practice and in providing and sourcing medicine"
