Master Tong Ching Chang was a Chinese physician from the Shandong Province in Northern China, famous for the quick and immediate success in immediately treating a variety of conditions by using only a small amount of needles. Points used in Tung style acupuncture are unique in the aspect that they are often located opposite the affected area, or distally from the area pain rather than the local affected area. In most cases in as few as one to three insertions, a patient has dramatic reduction in pain and large increases in range of motion.
